New JIP33 specification published: S-560 LV Switchgear and Controlgear (IEC)
JIP33 has published the S-560 LV Switchgear and Controlgear IEC) specification.
The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies in accordance with IEC 61439-1, Edition 3, May 2020 and IEC 61439-2, Edition 3.0, July 2020, Corrigendum 1, 2021 for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
About JIP33
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016. Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.
