A milestone for Phase 2, and a fresh new look for JIP33 online

IOGP JIP33 has published specification S-611 “Valve – Gate to API Spec 600 and API Spec 603″ .   It joined the list of specifications on 9 May,  ready for full industry adoption.

This marks the completion of all specifications from the second phase of JIP33 and increases the total number of published JIP33 specifications to 13.

“A huge thanks to those in the Gate Valves Specification Working Group for their efforts to get this over the line, this is a great moment for our industry” says Adri Postema, Director of the JIP33 Programme.

This specification, alongside the others published to date, is available on the programme’s newly refreshed website – www.iogp-jip33.org for all to download and use on their projects.

Widespread adoption of JIP33 specifications and  application of lessons learned will provide a step change in efficiency for the entire supply chain.
