S-733D Procurement Data Sheet For LV Motors (IEEE Std 841-2021) specification launched for public review
JIP33 has issued the S-733D Procurement Data Sheet for Low Voltage Motors (IEEE Std 841-2021) specification for public review. The consultation period runs for 3 weeks and will close on Sunday, 24 April 2022 at 23:00 GMT.
The purpose of this procurement data sheet is to define purchaser specific requirements for the procurement of low voltage motors and shall be used in conjunction with IEEE Std 841-2021, IEEE Standard for Petroleum and Chemical Industry—Premium-Efficiency, Severe-Duty, Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) Squirrel Cage Induction Motors—From 0.75 kW to 370 kW (1 hp to 500 hp).
The JIP33 standardized procurement specification normally follows a common document structure comprising of five documents, which together with the purchase order define the overall technical specification for procurement. This is a data sheet only.
It has been developed in consultation with a broad user and supplier base to realize benefits from standardization and achieve significant project and schedule cost reductions.
