S-732 LV Motor Control Centers (UL 845) specification launched for review

JIP33 has issued the S-732 – LV Motor Control Centers (UL 845) specification for public review.  The consultation period will run for four weeks and will close on Tuesday, 06 October 2020 at 23:00 GMT.

The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of low voltage motor control centers in accordance with UL 845, Fifth edition, published October 31, 2018, Motor Control Centers for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

The JIP33 standardized procurement specification follows a common document structure comprising of four documents, which together with the purchase order define the overall technical specification for procurement.

It has been developed in consultation with a broad user and supplier base to realize benefits from standardization and achieve significant project and schedule cost reductions.
