New JIP33 specification published – Small Bore Tubing & Fitting
JIP33 has published the S-716 Small Bore Tubing & Fitting specification.
The purpose of this specification is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the design, material selection, installation, testing and inspection, marking of small bore tubing, small bore tubing system components and small bore piping for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.
About JIP33
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016. Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.
More than 35 specifications have now been published to date and are already delivering benefits for users worldwide, with another 15 specifications currently in development.
