New JIP33 specifications published – Subsea Fasteners

JIP33 has published the following 3 specifications:-

S-724 Subsea Fasteners (Alloy and Carbon Steel Bolting)

S-725 Subsea Fasteners (Corrosion-resistant Bolting)

S-726 Subsea Fasteners – Recommended Practice for Application

Adri Postema, Director of the JIP33 Programme says:-

“We have now published 40 #JIP33 specifications. A big thank you to all the operators, suppliers and EPCs whose feedback and insights help us develop better, more robust specifications that work for the whole supply chain.

A special thanks to all our magnificent #JIP33 Working Group and #SMEs . Their sustained hard work and commitment enables us to continue publishing and developing specifications at pace.”

The purpose of these specifications is to define a minimum common set of specification requirements for the procurement of subsea fasteners for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

About JIP33

The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016.  Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.

40 specifications have now been published to date and are already delivering benefits for users worldwide, with another 15 specifications currently in development.
