JIP33 Programme reaches another major milestone

The JIP33 programme has reached a major milestone in April 2021 with 40 specifications now available to download and use free of charge from the JIP33 website.

Adri Postema, JIP33 Programme Director says:

”In the last year we’ve published 26 new specifications, despite having to totally change our ways of working as a result of COVID-19. Our thanks to of our SME’s and working groups for their commitment and flexibility. Their continued support means we will continue to deliver quality specifications at pace, for example the key Casing and Tubing (OCTG) specification that completed its public review in February.”

A further eight specifications are scheduled for publication during 2021. Five new specifications are already in development with a further 11 scheduled to start during 2021-22. Four specification scope expansions are also underway, with a further three planned.

User experience and feedback from EPCs and suppliers has also enabled us to start maintenance reviews for the JIP33 specifications published more than two years ago. Work is already in progress on three specifications, with a further nine maintenance reviews planned during 2021-22
