A new JIP33 document published: S-754 Liquid-immersed Distribution, Power and Regulating Transformers (IEEE) v1.0

IOGP JIP33 has published a new specification document: S-754 Liquid-immersed Distribution, Power and Regulating Transformers (IEEE) v1.0

The purpose of the IOGP S-754 specification documents is to define a minimum common set of requirements for the procurement of liquid-Immersed distribution, power and regulating transformers in accordance with IEEE Std C57.12.00, published January 2022, IEEE Standard for Liquid-Immersed Distribution, Power, and Regulating Transformers for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

The IOGP S-754 specification documents follow a common structure comprising a specification, also known as a technical requirements specification (TRS), a procurement data sheet (PDS), an information requirements specification (IRS) and a quality requirements specification (QRS). These four specification documents, together with the purchase order, define the overall technical specification for procurement

About JIP33

The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) launched Joint Industry Programme 33 (JIP33) to develop standardized procurement specifications aimed at reducing cost and schedule overruns in capital projects.

To date, JIP33 has published 59 specifications, which have been implemented across more than 200 projects, covering the procurement of over 105,000 items and amounting to a category spend exceeding $5 billion.
