New JIP33 specification published – Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers

JIP33 has reached another milestone with the publication of its fourth Phase 3 specification S-710 Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers.

This specification defines a minimum common set of requirements for procuring Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers – in accordance with API Standard 661, Seventh Edition, July 2013 – Reaffirmed, June 2018 for application in the petroleum and natural gas industries.

About JIP33

The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) started Joint Industry Programme (JIP)33 in 2016.  Its aim is to develop standardized specifications that enable the industry supply chain to become better, cheaper and faster.

20 specifications have been published and are already delivering benefits for users.  Another 30-plus specifications are in development and will be published by the end of 2020.
